It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad . . .

World - er, no!  I mean Tea Party!!!!

Even if one doesn't drink tea every day, there's something magical about the idea of a tea party, isn't there?  Partly because of Alice's adventures, but not completely, I'm thinking.  Beyond the party favors and pretty dresses and lovely table settings, there is the idea of the never-ending party where there is no time to wash up. . . .

The dishes and cups just stack up . . .

and up . . .

and up!!

But, hurry!  Before it is too late . . .

to meet our host, the Mad Hatter!

Say!  Does he look familiar to you?  But never mind - it's time to move on to the next party space.  Go to A Fanciful Twist and follow the links to this year's wonderful Mad Tea Party.

And if you enjoy the party, come back next year.  I'm sure we'll have another one and I hope to have more yummy treats to share.

Wednesday WOW - June 23

Isn't that a great teapot?  Well, there will be lots of this kind of thing this coming Saturday.  That is when Vanessa is hosting her annual Mad Tea Party!

I plan to join her - for a little bit at least.  I may not get mad, but maybe a little silly!  So go see Vanessa at A Fanciful Twist on Saturday and follow her list of blogs to see what kind of Madness creative people can craft up!  And look for me there!
