Wednesday WOW – March 28

You all will be glad to hear that I actually know what day it is . . . for today, anyway!  And, being Wednesday, I have some pictures to show you what I’m working on.

P3280001You’ve seen some of this project before.  It’s called “Disappearing Nine-Patch” and I now have all the nine-patch blocks done and have started on the “disappearing” part.

P3280002I really like these pastel colors.  I think this is going to be a very pretty quilt!  I got a lot done today and I’m hoping that next week I can start assembling rows.  Won’t that be fun?

Hate to say this but when you posted this I was just getting up ... on Thursday! Maybe next week.

I've heard of disappearing nine patch. Why is it called that? Nothing seems to have disappeared from your blocks on the table! I also like assembling the rows of blocks once they are pieced - my favorite part of making up a quilt top!
